Terms and conditions

You need an account to take a course. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account.

One account is for one person. Course access is not transferable and is not to be shared.

The free course is genuinely free and complete. It is not a trial that expires, and we will not ask for payment to finish it.

Paid enrolment works by request: you ask for a place, arrange payment with us directly, and we activate your access once payment is confirmed. Nothing is charged automatically and no card details are taken on this site.

A request that is not paid within the stated window expires. You can start a new one at any time.

If a paid course is not what you expected, contact us and we will discuss it. Because payment is arranged manually, refunds are handled the same way.

Course videos and materials belong to the academy. You may use them to learn. You may not download, re-upload, redistribute or resell them.

We may add to, improve or reorganise a course you are enrolled in. We will not remove a course you are part-way through without telling you.

A certificate is issued once you complete the lessons a course requires. It confirms you completed that course at this academy.

It is not an accredited or government-recognised qualification, and we do not present it as one.

We may revoke a certificate obtained by sharing an account or otherwise misrepresenting completion.

We aim to keep the academy running continuously, but we cannot promise it will never be unavailable — maintenance and faults happen.

If we change these terms in a way that materially affects you, we will tell you rather than quietly updating this page.
